Basically, I’ve been dealing with this one specific issue for as long as I can remember
and it’s my stomach.
I wouldn't call myself fat—I used to be pretty thin, actually—and I'm slim everywhere else on my body except for my midsection.
Every single time I eat anything, my stomach just bloats up. I honestly don't know if it's trapped air, if my stomach is just tiny, or what the hell is going on. When I wake up in the morning, everything looks fine (well, okay, maybe not "fine," but normal), but throughout the day, my waist hits about 28–30 inches. (For context, my hips are 35 inches)
Lately, I've been hitting the sit-up machine every day, doing 60 reps at a time, but it hasn't made a bit of difference—if anything, it feels like it's getting even bigger.
....
Is there an actual solution for this, or should I just learn to live with it?

Stronger muscles might help fix that slightly, though I wouldn't go overboard... why are you getting worked up? To me, it's actually 😍

I wouldn't call myself fat—more like thin rather than fat—and I'm slim everywhere else except my midsection.

Lately, I've been doing crunches—like, 60 reps every day on the machine—but nothing's changing. If anything, it feels even bigger.

That might just be how you're built—maybe try using a hula hoop around your waist to help, but honestly, skip the crunches.

And what exactly are you planning to say once you're pregnant?😁

Listen, maybe try some core work to help with your posture—that’s really your only move here. But if that's just how you're built, you aren't ever going to fully escape it. What, are you going to be doing crunches until you're eighty?🙄 Targeted exercises like that are pointless in my book; you'll eventually get bored and quit, and then we're back to square one. You're better off finding an actual hobby or some physical activity you actually enjoy. That's how you actually stay in shape.

And listen, maybe work on those abs so you can finally fix your silhouette—that’s really all you’ve got going for you... though if that's just how you're built, you'll never truly beat it... what, you gonna be doing crunches until the day you die? 🙄 Targeted workouts like that are pointless in my book because you'll just get bored and slack off again... find some actual physical activity that isn't a chore, then you might actually maintain your figure.

Look, my body is fit, I'm slim.
I ride my bike constantly and I dance, everything is great. I'm toned everywhere except my stomach—ugh!! But honestly, it always looks like that the second I eat anything. 😢

I ride my bike regularly and hit the dance floor, so everything feels tight—except for my stomach. Ugh. It just pops out the second I eat anything. 😢

Look, I get that you're fit. What I mean is you probably need something more intense to target those core muscles... maybe yoga or something like that.🤔
