Sudden agency spree

My mom suddenly felt terrible tonight out of nowhere... She got home fine, then all at once she started feeling awful. She's losing her balance, closing her eyes, says she can't sleep, and she can't even grip things properly. Her coordination is just totally off. I guess it might be Bunche & Strebel, but she doesn't have a fever. She usually struggles with really low blood pressure and feels lightheaded sometimes, but never like this—it's like her cerebellum isn't working right.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be??

Get them to the ER.

I’ve honestly got no clue how this might mess with women's health specifically, but if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't be sitting around wasting any more time. You really should just call 911. To someone like me who isn't a doctor, this looks pretty serious... please don't play around with this, every single minute counts right now.

Sure, low pressure can mean less oxygen getting to the brain, but I’d still rush her straight to the ER. This could easily be a symptom of a stroke or something just as serious.

No headaches and she gets everything. She isn't weak on one side, maybe even both... she's just really exhausted. I would have taken her out myself, but she turned me down and went to bed...

Just call 911 and tell them what's going on. Maybe they'll send an ambulance for her if she's being stubborn about going herself.

Look, you shouldn't take advice from someone who sounds like they're rambling like a Bunche & Strebel brochure. Just call 911, describe her symptoms, and see what the professionals have to say about it.

I’d honestly suggest calling 911 just to get a professional opinion, or at least have your mom swing by her primary care doctor first thing in the morning.
We went through something almost identical with my grandma, and it turned out she'd had a minor stroke.
