I honestly believe you all should just enable editing at all times. You really need to scrap that damn restriction that kicks in after five or ten minutes—or whatever arbitrary window you've set—once a post is live. Why even have it? For those of us who actually use these classified boards regularly, it would be a massive help. I find myself wanting to tweak or add a tiny detail to my initial listing constantly, and right now, instead of just making a quick correction, I’m forced to spam the entire thread with follow-up posts. It's inefficient.

It’d be handy for classifieds, I guess, but also kind of pointless if someone decides to go back and edit a post they labeled "stupid" two years later.

Great idea for the ads section, sure, but for the rest of the forum? Not so much.🙂

Honestly, I’m on the exact same page regarding an online marketplace just for this—if someone actually built it, it would be a total game-changer. 🙂

hey, is it possible to just apply something like that to one specific section of the forum?

The admin doesn't have a single clue what they're doing.

You’ve got a 90-minute window to make any edits after you post. Just a heads-up though—we aren't implementing that same rule for the Classifieds section.
