I’m curious if certain dietary supplements, like Optimum Nutrition L-Carnitine in pill form, might actually have an impact on male fertility? Of course, you won't find any warnings on their official websites claiming anything other than being 100% safe, but I suspect there's more to the story. Does anyone here have any actual insight into this? Thanks

There is absolutely zero reason to believe this is harmful. At the end of the day, meat naturally contains L-carnitine—you find the highest concentrations in lamb, and since nobody claims lamb ruins fertility, there's no logical basis to suggest carnitine itself poses any risk.
In fact, L-carnitine is easily one of the healthiest supplements out there; it has proven benefits for heart health and kidney function. It just doesn't do a damn thing for the main reason most people buy it in the first place—weight loss.
