Hi there!
So, here’s the situation... I got a new tattoo three days ago, and I’m actually really happy with how it turned out.
It's a quote right along my collarbone. I was wondering if it's okay for me to head outside for a bit—not to soak up the sun, obviously, just hanging out in the shade in the backyard—without having to wrap it in protective film?

Look, if it isn't that Suprasorb stuff that stays put for six days, then honestly, you want it to come off. It’s way better to just let it breathe—just dab on thin layers while you're hanging out at home. If you actually have to head out and your clothes are going to rub against it, then yeah, just throw a little bit of regular medical tape over it for the trip. Just stick with the ointment for two weeks, and after that, you can switch to a basic moisturizer just to keep things hydrated.

Yeah, for those first few weeks, you really want to let the tattoo breathe as much as possible—just keep it in the open air without any film over it. Just make sure you stay out of the direct sun!
