I’ve gone through that skin prick test twice now. From what I gather, there’s supposed to be some kind of reaction—like a bump measuring between 6 to 10mm?
I had to do it as part of a routine physical for my job...
The first time I did it last year, absolutely nothing happened. 😕
So, they just told me it was negative...
But I've been dealing with these constant throat issues for about a year now. I get these coughs that linger for weeks and nothing seems to actually fix them long-term... I’ll manage to clear it up, and then it just starts all over again. 🤷
A few days ago, I took the test again, and this time, something actually showed up. My sister noted down in the medical records that it came back positive...
Now I'm sitting here wondering—how does this test even work? What does it actually mean when something appears on your skin, or doesn't? Or what if the reaction is larger than 10mm? What does it imply that it finally turned out positive for me this time?
