Is it just me, or does it feel like we're entering a weird transitional period with our favorite teams? It feels like every few years, we get that sudden realization that the core group that carried us through the last few seasons is finally moving on. It’s that bittersweet moment where you're excited to see the new talent step up, but you're also kind of mourning the loss of the legends who made you feel like we were unbeatable.
I remember back when our roster was stacked with those once-in-a-generation players, and every game felt like a guaranteed win. Now, looking ahead to this upcoming season, there's this nagging sense of uncertainty. We're going to be relying heavily on the younger kids to find their footing much sooner than we'd like. It’s a massive test of the program's depth rather than just individual stardom.
Do you guys think these rebuilding years are actually better for long-term success, or do they just leave us vulnerable to a massive slump?
