I find myself checking out of new releases more and more, sticking to the classics instead😉

One of the best movies of 2022—and let’s be honest, it was a massive year for cinema. It’s that rare kind of film that works as both a sharp social critique and a total creative playground for the director. Definitely one for the history books. I'm not sure if it's officially in the running for an Oscar yet, but I'm rooting for it to take home the win.

It’s nothing special. Fine if you have nothing better to do, but I’m never paying for a ticket. Plus, Anya is getting a bit much with how many movies she's been in lately.

Satire that just missed the mark entirely.
It’s a mess—bad pacing and an ending so nauseating you can almost feel it. Some American sex worker decides to take out her frustrations by slamming a cheeseburger into a world-class chef's face, then proceeds to set a whole damn ship on fire. Honestly? I actually laughed at the "cheese"—it looked like straight-up plastic.

Conceptually, the film is pure genius.

I mean, the movie probably would’ve actually been decent if the chef hadn't totally botched the emulsion—just a mess, I guess.

Is "American cheese" actually called that? I've spent far too much time watching high-end burger videos made by those big-name chefs, and apparently, it’s actually considered one of the best choices for a proper cheeseburger.

The movie was reasonably entertaining. To be honest, once the action kicked in, I found myself watching mostly just to see how the director and the writers would attempt to untangle the plot. They managed to pull it off well enough, I suppose. It could have been better, but it was certainly solid.

Honestly, people probably should have just stuck to ordering a cheeseburger 😁

This is honestly such a great movie—it really holds its own right alongside all those Marvel blockbusters and Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes...

I've always been a fan of cheeseburgers—even before this movie came out—but now? Now I'm obsessed 😁 (honestly, it's the only thing I get at McDonald's)

I get it—but when a Michelin-starred chef says it, you can't help but feel a certain respect for the choice.

Honestly, this was one of my absolute favorites from last year—just so incredibly creative. I haven't seen anything quite like it before in my life.
I’d even go as far as saying it might be the most impactful movie I've ever watched. Full disclosure: I haven't sat through much from the big festivals like Venice, Cannes, or Berlin, aside from a few random picks here and there.

I just don't get all these critics, though. I love Anya—just like how I used to feel about Lawrence.

Top-tier flick, probably the best thing I saw all last year.

Man, critics are just whatever... you can't ever win with those pretentious snobs anyway...

I’d give the movie a decent 6/10, but honestly, having spent four years working in an American restaurant, I’m bumping that up to an 8/10.
