OR

...that moment AFTER the hero has already pulverized the bad guy, and then just tops it all off with one last killer one-liner.

So I figured, hey, let's put together a little collection here if anyone's feeling it!

Take Vin Diesel in 'Pitch Black,' for example—honestly, it’s the totally broken grammar of that sentence that sticks in my brain the most.
mister Richard B. Riddick must have spent a hell of a lot of time reading books while he was stuck in prison.

The absolute king of all cheesy one-liners—the GOAT of punny action movie dialogue—has to be from the end of *Dark Angel* (though if you look it up on IMDb, they list it under the title *Come in Peace*). It’s that moment where Dolph Lundgren is squaring off against some gnarly, hippie-style gangster alien. Honestly, the line has been beaten to death since then because everyone and their mother has ripped it off, but hey, that’s just how these classics work.

Alien: I come in peace.
Dolph: And you go in pieces...

Some low-budget sci-fi flick... I can't even recall the title... The main villain is some sort of cosmic manifestation of pure evil. He’s got this flashy energy thing going on... Supernova something or other. Anyway, he dropped the hardest line I've ever heard in a movie: "Regret is the only sin."

Something like, "Send a lunatic to catch a lunatic"...

And all those "Simon says" references throughout the film... That was cool. Really cool. Back in the day, at least...
