I feel like every time a big name leaves a team, the fans immediately start panicking about finding a "direct replacement." In my experience, trying to find a carbon copy of a specific player usually just leads to a massive waste of transfer budget. Does anyone else think clubs should focus on tactical fits rather than just chasing a name to fill a hole?
