Is it just me, or does every season feel like it’s just waiting for one specific thing to go wrong? You have a plan, you have a roster that looks solid on paper, and then suddenly someone goes down with a nagging injury and the whole house of cards starts shaking. It’s that specific kind of anxiety where you realize how thin the margin for error actually is.
I remember back in a few years ago, we were cruising through the summer, feeling untouchable, and then two key starters hit the IL in the same week. We went from "contender" to "praying for survival" in about forty-eight hours. It really makes you question the front office's depth. If you aren't aggressive when the opportunity presents itself, you're basically just hoping for luck, and luck is a terrible strategy when you're chasing a championship.
Do you guys think teams should be more proactive about these mid-season gaps, or is it better to just hold steady and hope the guys heal up in time?
