Is it just me, or does the constant movement in the lower leagues feel totally unpredictable? I’ve been following some of these developmental tracks for years, and it always seems like just when you think you’ve got a handle on a player's trajectory, everything gets shuffled around. One day they’re the big hope in one city, and the next, they’re packing up for a completely different coast.
It’s a tough reality for the fans, too. I remember following a specific prospect back in my college days, getting really invested in his stats and his potential, only to have him moved to a team I’d never even heard of before he even hit the big leagues. It makes it hard to build that genuine connection with a roster when the lineup feels like a revolving door.
Do you guys think these mid-season swaps actually help the players' development, or does the constant instability just mess with their heads?
