I’d love some neutral takes here, just looking for a general vibe. Names don't matter.
Do you think this post actually follows the rules? Should it be deleted and the user banned?
Isn't the author attacking the person instead of sticking to the topic? Aren't they basically psychoanalyzing someone and calling them stupid?
Is this considered off-topic? Since the post focuses on a specific user and their supposed "actions" rather than the actual subforum topic?
Doesn't trolling someone naturally trigger this kind of response?
Or is this straight-up harassment and defamation against someone the author doesn't even know, using stuff that's clearly a lie?
Should writing like this be allowed? And is it okay for moderators to leave it up for everyone else to read?
Just asking for info—not trying to call out the mods, just curious about an objective opinion.
I don't see a huge issue with thinking someone is an idiot and showing it... even if it's a bit rude. But making up serious lies and presenting them as facts? That seems dangerous for forum members if leadership ignores it and lets it stay on the board.
Or is the post totally fine? Just some harmless venting at someone you don't like by making things up? Is that acceptable?
And is the person complaining just overreacting?

...still projecting their issues onto this thread. Just the same old hypocritical, petty, mindless questions and counter-questions from two years ago. Haven't you had enough? Now they're even booking multiple Airbnbs in a row just out of spite for the hosts. 😁People like this (if you can even call them guests) are the textbook reason why everyone should steer clear of sites like Airbnb.
