Thread locked for no reason

The thread was wiped out completely without any explanation, even though people were posting like crazy and actually getting responses.

Essentially, this site isn't some "platform for public debate" like they want you to believe. It’s just a tool for censorship used to force a single perspective on everyone.

It's frustrating dealing with a site that shuts down a discussion the second it stops catering to the one-sided narrative being pushed by the establishment—both through mainstream media and clearly through this forum too.☕

It’s the same pattern everywhere. Once you get too many people voicing opinions you don't like, you just lock the thread. Or you censor the data that contradicts your narrative and ban anyone who pushes back.

I've only got one question here—which "conspiracy theories" are we actually talking about? Are we excluding stuff that hasn't turned out to be true yet, or does this apply to things that are already proven facts too?

So, basically, you decided to shut down the one oasis of free thought, uncensored debate, and actual logic, just to shove us all into some censored, echo-chamber sub-forum where they delete, ban, and bully anyone who doesn't follow the government/task force narrative. Since you haven't been around this site since yesterday, you clearly know exactly how this works and how familiar this pattern is to you.

And you also know that coronavirus has nothing to do with health anymore (not since the first/last person could get vaccinated without a massive announcement), and that this is purely about politics. You also know the server doesn't give a damn whether our posts are in this thread or that one; the load is the same. And let's be real, Reddit has random chat threads in every single sub that put more strain on the servers than this corona thread ever did, so why pick on us? This thread was under Politics from day one, even when it had zero connection to politics, and now every single day it becomes more relevant. At the very least, as long as there's a task force deciding our fates—and those people are politicians—this thread belongs right here.

Well, from my perspective while monitoring and moderating the conspiracy threads, anything that moves beyond the realm of pure speculation is naturally discussed in other topics without anyone being penalized.
But forgive me, we simply cannot allow posts intended for other sections to clutter up the conspiracy boards, where unwary users might end up getting burned by misinformation.

That’s why I moved over strictly to the politics PDF thread, which, to my absolute shock, has been closed off too!

To me, this makes absolutely no sense, mainly because the discussions in that thread were actually high-quality, full of free-thinking debate and completely free from censorship!
All this just confirms the media censorship and the forced conformity that's coming our way.
