Tick bite - maybe?

So, I have someone close to me who just got back from a hiking trip out in the woods, and she’s currently dealing with this grayish-black spot on her skin. It looks somewhat like a pimple at first glance, but it’s dark—almost silvery in some light.

Could this actually be a tick bite? She’s certain she hasn’t had anything like this on her body before. 🙂

Anyway, I'll try to get a photo uploaded shortly if you guys think it's necessary. 🙂

So, I took this photo. What do you guys think—is this actually a tick? 🙂 She claims she doesn't have a single thing on her mind. 🤷 Honestly, it probably isn't a tick, but if that's the case, what else could it be? 🙂

Man, this looks seriously weird... definitely some kind of bug or something, but I don't think it's a tick.

I mean, they usually love hiding in your hair, under your arms, or anywhere else where the skin is thin... though I guess there aren't really any set rules with these things.
