I’m on the hunt for a solid laminator recommendation... honestly, my main priority is just finding something reliable where the pouches don't tear or split mid-run, you know?
1. Also, can I actually use those big rolls of laminating film in an A3-sized machine?
2. What’s the best way to cut the film from a roll without it shredding or turning into a total mess?
3. So, there are specific A3 and A4 pouches out there, but man, they are pricey—basically just double-sided sheets sold separately. I'm wondering how to work with the rolls so I get that top-and-bottom lamination... do I just slice the roll in half and feed it through, or is there some secret trick to prepping it before it hits the machine?
4. Is there even such a thing as a laminator that handles stuff bigger than A3? Like an A3+ maybe? Ideally something that won't break the bank...
5. And what about business cards? Should I be laminating a full sheet of paper first and then cutting them out, or do I just toss the individual cards into a pouch? Does it actually make a difference if I laminate the whole sheet and then cut everything at once versus doing the extra work of laminating pre-cut cards?
6. If I go the route of laminating the whole sheet and then cutting the cards out along the lines, is there a risk of the plastic peeling away from the paper?
