Just about a month ago, I was sitting at 230 pounds when I finally made the decision to hit the gym and start shedding all that extra weight... the initial transition was incredibly rough, but now, whenever I catch my reflection in the mirror, I can clearly see where all that mass went...

I’m down to 210 pounds now... it feels like a balanced mix of gaining some muscle while burning off the fat.

However, I’ve run into a bit of a dilemma... my skin is hanging quite loosely all over—my arms, legs, and stomach... it honestly looks pretty unsightly.
(just to be clear, I haven't touched any pills or supplements designed for weight loss or fat burning)
What is the best way to tighten things up or stop the sagging?
Is there some sort of trick to this?
Should I look into tablets?
I'm open to anything...

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think there's much you can do here... once the skin has stretched out like that, there isn't really a way to pull it back except through surgery or some kind of body lifting...

You really should have caught The Tonight Show the other day...

There was this guy—he lost about 440 pounds in a remarkably short window because he started at over 650.

He ended up needing surgery because of it...

But they had to remove about 6 pounds of excess skin. I don't think you need to go to such extremes... you've only lost 20 pounds, and you weren't starting at an extreme weight.

(we are talking about Americans, after all)

There are probably some supplements or something out there...

I'm not much help here, I know...
just go see a doctor and ask them!

Hey 🙂

First off, congrats on making the call and sticking to it. Success looks good on you. 👍

In my experience, skin tends to tighten up naturally over time. That said, you can definitely give it a nudge with the right body care products. I've heard people swear by CeraVe; you can usually find it at any local CVS or Walgreens.

I’ve also talked to women who dealt with similar issues after pregnancy or significant weight loss, and they highly recommended "body wrapping." It might be worth calling around to some high-end spas in town to see what they offer.

First off, huge congrats on making the call and actually crushing your goals! 👍

I honestly think your skin will tighten up on its own eventually. But, if you want to give it a little nudge, grab some body lotions—CeraVe is usually the go-to, you can find it at any CVS or Walgreens.

I’ve also heard from women who dealt with the same thing after having babies or dropping weight that 'body wrapping' actually works. Maybe check out a local spa and see what they offer.

This is solid advice right here. Also, I'm pretty sure Vitamin E helps with skin elasticity (correct me if I'm wrong).

Just stay patient and keep hitting the gym. Filling out with muscle is basically like natural filler for your skin—it really helps.👍

It’s important to remember—and I really can't stress this enough—that the skin needs some actual downtime to "tighten up" once you've successfully shed those extra pounds. We aren't talking about days here; we're talking about several months of patience.
