I am looking for some guidance on how to manage toxic damage—specifically regarding elevated GGT, MCV, and CA 19-9 levels. My metabolic liver function appears to be within the normal range, which is a relief! However, I was wondering if there are any specific herbal teas that might help support the recovery process? Thank you so much for your help!

What kind of "toxic damage" are we even talking about here? What exactly was damaged, and what caused it? Is this person dealing with a specific illness? How is it being treated? And I’d like to see the actual lab results. For the record, CA 19-9 is a tumor marker.

By the way, quit typing in all caps on the forum—even in the subject lines. That's a quick way to get yourself banned. 😉

My apologies if my previous message was a bit muddled—let me clarify things. I just got back from the lab, and here is what the results are showing:
My GGT came in at 105, while the standard range is 11-55; my MCV is 105 against a normal 83.0-97.2; and my MCH is 34.4 when it should be between 27.4 and 33.9. On top of that, my Ca 19-9 tumor marker is elevated at 66.7, compared to the usual 33. Just for context—I don't smoke at all, and I've been being very disciplined with my diet lately. The report suggests these levels could point toward toxic damage (given the high GGT and MCV), even though my liver's metabolic function seems fine. They've recommended an abdominal CT scan. I would truly appreciate any help or advice you all might have. Thanks, fadedmarlin402.

What kind of toxic damage are we even talking about here? Are you drinking? On any medications? Working around industrial chemicals? I honestly don't get why you were running these tests in the first place—what symptoms are you actually dealing with? Look, lab results for blood work don't tell the whole story; they’re just one piece of the puzzle used to supplement a clinical diagnosis. You need an abdominal scan to see what's actually going on inside. This looks like it points toward liver issues. Get an ultrasound or maybe even a CT scan done. Just remember, nobody on this forum is qualified to diagnose you or prescribe a treatment plan.
