Tragedy on the backroads???!!!!

There’s a whole thread going on over on Alternative regarding the deaths of those local firefighters... are you really just going to let people post their total nonsense there? I mean, I think I even saw someone bringing up Rockefeller??
Because I have so much respect for the victims of this tragedy, I’m asking that we please close this thread. Thank you.

Back when people were discussing 9/11, victims were being dismissed as mere actors and trashed as if they were CIA assets. I still vividly remember those images of the remains at the Pentagon being copied and pasted across every single page for days on end. I agree with you, but I find it a bit strange to bring this up now. If the threshold for what kind of rhetoric is acceptable starts shifting based on the nationality of the victims, then we are heading down a very dark path.

Threads shouldn't be shut down; they should be moderated.

If people start acting out or being disrespectful, we’ll moderate those posts and hand out sanctions accordingly. The thread itself isn't going anywhere unless things get out of hand.
