The 2012 apocalypse. Is the Mayan prophecy actually going to happen?

The 2012 apocalypse. Will the Mayan prophecy come true?
"Russia" TV network, 2008
written by Igor Vasiljev,

The ancient civilization known as the "Mayan" vanished from the face of the Earth five hundred years before America was even discovered, leaving behind nothing but a trail of riddles. One of the biggest ones involves their calendar, which still leaves modern folks scratching their heads because of how incredibly precise it is. According to this timeline, the era we call the "fifth sun"—the one humanity is currently riding through—is set to wrap up on December 21, 2012. As for what happens once the clock runs out... well, nobody really knows...
The creators of the film "2012 apocalypse" headed down to Mexico to track down people who take the Mayan prophecy very seriously, while also sitting down with skeptics—the usual crowd representing traditional science.

"Everyone is out there searching for their own path in life. And let me tell you, that path is never exactly a straight line or a smooth ride...
I don't know the exact coordinates for where these doors are located, but honestly, that’s probably not the point. If you're truly ready to step through, you'll somehow find your way. But here's the catch—you have to buy a ticket. And trust me, the price tag on that entry fee is pretty steep. For a guy who puts all his faith in modern science and refuses to look anywhere else, the door to this realm remains firmly shut."
So, can we actually prepare for the arrival of a new era?
What does it take to stay in sync with this shifting time and avoid getting left on the fringes of existence?
The recipe is actually pretty straightforward.
First off, learn how to actually live and enjoy being alive right here, right now. Just exist in the present moment.
Second, try living in close connection and harmony with nature, without making a mess of things.
Third, attempt to live in an atmosphere of Ijubav; just wake up with a smile on your face and try to maintain a good mood and a kind heart toward others.
Fourth, stop the complaining, quit judging everyone else, and try not to get sucked into the endless cycle of gossip and grievances. Don't go blaming other people for your own failures or weaknesses. All the reasons for why things are the way they are lie within you. Just try to wake up your consciousness—it's simpler than it sounds, really; you just have to learn how to listen to the voice of your own heart.
At the end of the day, whether you believe in that sacred date of December 21, 2012, or not, the choice is entirely yours.
There's an old, wise saying in America that sums it up perfectly: "Wait and see."

abyss call of the abyss

abyss call of the abyss (2009)
Directed by Aleksandar Meržanov

"If you gaze long enough into the abyss, the abyss begins to gaze back at you." Friedrich Nietzsche.

The abyss—it's mysterious and ominous, terrifying yet strangely magnetic. What is it, really? Is it a collective conscious or unconscious? An information field, or perhaps something much larger? Is it a beacon of hope for salvation, or a new kind of weapon, more frightening than anything we've seen before? Who inhabits it, and who pulls the strings? And who are the people brave enough to touch its secrets and tap into its limitless potential?

This film tells a story about a shadow war fought by special military units. The weapons involved aren't firearms, cold steel, or even nukes; the weapon is the human brain. Somewhere in the depths of secret laboratories, someone has opened Pandora's box, and nobody can say for sure what the fallout will be. Even so, we're only seeing a tiny glimpse behind the curtain. The film explores the boundless possibilities hidden inside every one of us.
Where the line is drawn between reality and fiction—well, I guess you'll have to decide that for yourself.

Mirrors - a breakthrough into the future (2011)

Mirrors - a breakthrough into the future (2011) ("Зеркала прорыв в будущее")

Written and directed by Vitaliy Pravdivcev

Magicians have always believed that concave mirrors gather certain energies at their focal point, tapping into an astral realm that awakens a person's clairvoyance. That’s why they would stare into deep vessels, hoping to catch glimpses of miraculous images from the past, the present, or the future—everything could be revealed in an instant. In a way that defies logic, hundreds of years ago, back in the 13th century, Roger Bacon predicted the invention of the microscope, the telescope, cars, airplanes, and motorboats. Two centuries before gunpowder was officially "discovered," he had already written down its composition and effects. Long before modern science caught up, he understood biological cell structures and the process of embryo formation. Where did a scholar-monk get knowledge like that? Some say he was aided by mysterious mirrors.
Even Bacon himself brings them up here.
"I saw a star shaped like a spiral in a concave mirror. It was positioned between the navel of Pegasus, the chest of Andromeda, and the head of Cassiopeia."
It’s wild to think about, but 400 years later at that exact spot in space, we finally discovered the first intergalactic nebula—the Andromeda Spiral. This great medieval scientist was basically trying to bridge the gap between physics and magic, medicine and ethics, math and mystical insight. Naturally, he made plenty of enemies along the way, both in the scientific community and among church leaders...

Maybe those ancient sages were actually onto something when they predicted discoveries that would completely flip our understanding of the Universe on its head. And who knows, maybe those cosmic mirrors are the very tools that will give us a fresh breakthrough in decoding the mysteries of time and the human psyche. If researchers swapped out their standard handheld mirrors for these specialized devices, they might just stumble upon some hidden, mysterious layer of reality where our usual concepts of space and time don't even apply. From that endless wellspring, we could potentially draw knowledge about the past and future, the structure of the Cosmos, and other intentions hidden from view... But there's also a massive danger lurking in how this could remotely influence human consciousness—people who have absolutely no clue what's happening. Meanwhile, these kinds of studies are being conducted all over the world, treated as top priority and labeled as the most secretive research projects, all aimed at utilizing a giant planetary mirror within Earth's electrical shroud—the Ionosphere—for military and political leverage...
