Hey there!

I just started a new thread—is there any way I can turn this post into a poll?
How do you actually set one up?

Cheers,

You can't. And honestly, I'm not even 100% sure if the mod 😳

Maybe ask the Zion moderator of that subforum to take a look, or just coordinate with him to start a new thread with a poll while he clears this one out.

Just hit up the Zion moderator for that subforum and see if they'll let you try, or just work it out with them to start a fresh thread with a poll and have them scrap this one.

How much of a mess can one person actually make?🙂

Yeah, you can,

Just look for "Topic Tools" up in the top right corner. Click "Create Poll," toss in your questions, and you're good to go.

Assuming you're the one who actually started the thread, though.

Can someone please explain to me how to add a poll to a thread like this one?

I can copy, delete, move, close, pin, or even set up redirects... but I just can't seem to find the option for a poll. 😳 😢

I mean, I know how to copy stuff, delete things, move threads, lock them, pin them, even deal with redirects... but for some reason, I can't find the option for a poll anywhere. 😳 😢

You can't do it. Only the original poster has that power.😬

So, how is it that the author has the power, but the mod doesn't? 😕

Charles Ramirez59 said:Wait, so you're telling me the mod can't touch it, but the author gets a free pass? Give me a break! That makes zero sense. 😕

Just ask the admins.

Alright, I'll stop bragging... clearly my polls aren't hitting the mark lately. 😁

Those poll mods are totally useless to us...
We can't open 'em, close 'em, or edit 'em—nothing at all...

Word on the street is The Bulletin has some poll plugin available, but nobody seems to want to bother installing it...

So basically, the author is the only one who can post a poll, and that’s where it ends. Period.

Thinking back to everything some of the mods and supermods have pulled 🙄 ... maybe it's better this way. 😁

Better that way...
