Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me make sense of these tissue typing results—specifically regarding antigen determination...
This is for an 18-year-old. PLEASE, this is extremely urgent!
Thanks so much, and best regards to you all!

p.s. To keep things clear between the fields, I'll use this symbol: /...So, the first number is what's in the first field, and the number after the / belongs to the second field.

RESULTS:

HLA phenotype:
HLA-A LOCUS ( VALUES: 9/25 );
HLA-B LOCUS ( VALUES: 18/61);
HLA-DR LOCUS ( VALUES: 11/ND);
HLA-DQ LOCUS ( VALUES: 3/ND);
DR 51;52;53 ( VALUES: 52/ND);

HLA-Cw LOCUS ( NT/NT);
Bw46 (NT/NT);
DNA: DRB1* LOCUS (NT/NT);

NT= not typed
ND= not determined

Again, thank you so much!

With great respect,

I need some clarification on these HLA typing results.
HLA-A 24(9).
HLA-A 33 (19)
HLA-B 51(5). Just another genetic marker on a long list of things we can't control. Is there anything else?
HLA-B 58(01). Is there anything more significant?
HLA-Bw4? Is there any actual clinical significance to this, or are we just cataloging data for the sake of it?
HLA-Bw?
HLA-Cw 2?
The HLA system—specifically CW3? It’s another layer of complexity we have to account for. Does anyone actually find these classifications useful, or are we just adding more noise to an already crowded field?
HLA-DRB1*11
HLA-DRB1*13. Just another marker on a long list of genetic variables. Does anyone actually believe we can map out a life based on a single allele? It’s all just more data points in an endless sea of biological noise.
HLA-DQB1*—another complex genetic marker to navigate. Why does everything involving immunology feel like an endless maze of alphanumeric codes? It’s just one more variable to account for when you're trying to make sense of autoimmune patterns.
The HLA-DQA1* test was ordered because of joint pain, but what does any of this actually signify? Who can even make sense of these results?
