Hey everyone... Not sure if there's already a thread about this, but I couldn't find the specific answers I was looking for. π
So, I'm currently a junior in high school in Indianapolis, and my plan is to head to Washington, D.C. for college next year. But honestly, if I can't snag a spot in a University Dormitory, none of this matters. I just want to understand how the whole process actually works.
Do they post the applications for dorm housing once high school graduation is over, or does it happen while exams are still going on? And if I get accepted to a university in Washington, D.C.βwhen will I actually know if I secured a room? Will I have enough time to change my college choices on my application list if it turns out I won't have a place to live? When does the housing application even open?
Sorry, I'm completely lost here. I'd really appreciate it if someone could walk me through the logistics, because studying in Washington, D.C. is a huge goal for me.π€
