Vascular surgery: What to expect for a blocked artery procedure?

Has anyone here actually gone through a procedure to clear out clogged arteries (you know, where fat buildup starts blocking everything up)? I’d love it if someone could walk me through what the whole process is actually like.

He’s likely talking about an angioplasty... basically, they thread a catheter through an artery—usually via a small incision in the groin—straight up to the heart. Once there, they inflate a tiny balloon to clear out the blockage and might even pop in a stent to keep things open so the issue doesn't just come right back. It's nothing too crazy. From what I gather, you usually head home the same day and they just use local anesthesia.
