Is it just me, or do these annual sports game ratings feel more like a popularity contest every single year? I spent the afternoon looking through the new player projections, and honestly, I’m just baffled by who actually made the cut. It’s like the developers are looking at different players than the ones we're actually watching on Sundays.
I remember back in the day, you could pretty much trust that if a guy was a top-tier prospect, his numbers in the game would reflect that. Now, it feels like certain guys get massive boosts just because they have a big social media presence or played for a "glamour" team, while the actual workhorses get overlooked. It’s frustrating when you're trying to build a dynasty or a fantasy roster and you realize the "top tier" is missing half the talent that actually matters.
Does anyone else feel like the "skill" gap in these games is getting wider because of how they handle rookie evaluations?
