Video playback issues

Hey there,
I could really use some help here... I'm having this weird issue where certain videos just won't play right on YouTube, TikTok, or even Pinterest. Instead of actual content, I’m just getting hit with this solid green screen or the video starts flickering like crazy.

I'm running this laptop on macOS. Any idea what might be causing this mess?

It’s probably just an outdated player or maybe some update is getting blocked by your firewall

It’s possible the media player is just outdated, though I doubt that’s the case if they’ve been keeping up with their updates lately. Honestly, it sounds more like a codec issue to me, or even more likely, something going on with the graphics card.

When you say "only certain videos," what exactly do you mean by that?
