Hey everyone,

The better the forum gets, the more it needs Visa members...

And since everyone seems obsessed with making a quick buck these days...
...I honestly don't think people would have an issue with paying up, provided the perks are actually fleshed out properly. 🙂

Here’s what I’m looking for:
- A green username color
- More storage space for private messages
- The ability to embed Flash videos🙂
- Zero ads
....

How much I'd actually drop depends on what those "special features" end up being, so let's get the discussion going...

that’s clearly a sponsored handle
it’s pretty obvious when someone just wants to push an agenda, pays for the privilege, and then hops on the forum to talk about it like they aren't just running a glorified commercial

Why not? You just have to be a business entity or be advertising some kind of commercial service. As for self-promotion? 🤷 That’s a stretch, though maybe possible through an association. Either way, feel free to reach out to marketing@forum.hr. 😉

p.s. I'm not being a troll here; if you actually happen to be a veterinarian in real life, the problem is basically solved. It would just be a sponsored handle for a veterinary clinic. Voilà! Honestly, it’s not a bad idea, since there are plenty of users on the Pets PDF who could probably use some expert advice from a vet (even if they have to pay for it). Speaking for myself, my dog came down with pyroplasmosis recently, which was a nightmare—though "nightmare" might be an overstatement, since my vet has never actually treated a dog before and treats my pet more like a cow than a companion 😢. If there's a vet reading this, go for it! 👍

but listen, I’ve got an idea! why don't we let actual pros—like doctors or whatever—answer the medical threads? maybe give them a specific colored username or something so everyone knows, "oh, hey, that guy's a doctor, I'll ask him."

if anyone actually wants to run an ad around here, do the right thing and coordinate with the marketing department or the owner first, then you can go ahead and sing your own praises all you want

So, look, obviously he isn’t going to get banned just for running an ad; they’ll probably tolerate a little bit of spamming, basically giving him enough rope to actually pitch his product...
Of course, if someone starts acting completely out of line or getting abusive, that wouldn't be tolerated or allowed under any circumstances.
