Weekly Creativity Challenge

I am calling on all creatives and aspiring artists to join our Weekly Challenge. The theme is Valentine's Day. Whether it’s photography, digital art, a link, or a poem—use any medium you choose to express yourself virtually.
Submissions are open until Friday, February 19th at 11:59 PM. Once the window closes, we will launch a poll for voting, which runs until Sunday, February 21st at 8:00 PM..

The rules are straightforward: one entry per user, one vote per person. The winner gets to select the topic for the next Weekly Challenge.

Sylvia Plath, You With Hands More Innocent Than Mine

You, whose hands are more innocent than mine,
and who possess a wisdom akin to carefree peace.
You, who can read his brow
better than I could interpret his solitude,
and who sweep away the faint shadows
of hesitation from his face,
just as a spring breeze clears
the cloud shadows drifting over the ridge.

If your embrace emboldens his heart,
and if your touch stills his pain,
if your name provides sanctuary
to his wandering thoughts, and your throat
offers him shade where he lies,
and the night of your voice remains an orchard,
untouched by any storm.

Then stay by his side,
and be more devoted than all those
who loved him before you.
Fear not the echoes approaching
innocent beds of love.
And be gentle to his sleep,
beneath an invisible mountain
on the edge of a roaring sea.

Soothe his grief. Let him be met
by compassionate puddles.
Comfort his rustling. Friendly lizards

And the thirsty snakes I have tamed

I did not witness the finest season

of cattle drivers at fairs

to little, wretched bears
abandoned in the black forest.

I just wanted to jump on here and give you all a heads-up about a scam going around online right now involving Valentine's Day
So, I went ahead and ordered a perfume and a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for someone special, right? And what do they actually send me? A crate of Budweiser and a pack of Marlboros.
Absolutely horrific.

voting is such a joke... lock this thread already... I’m not letting anyone vote on my absolute masterpiece, which was honestly just meant to nudge a topic that actually looked promising for once... let them go ahead and count their little numbers if they want to be petty... cheers to the participants... though obviously not you guys...
