So, I’m new to this forum and honestly, I’m struggling hard with my weight.....

Here’s the breakdown: I’m 16, weighing about 119 lbs, and I’m 5'11"...
If anyone out there has a solid meal plan for an entire week, please, send it my way, it would be a lifesaver....
I play basketball, but we’re on a break for the holidays, so I figured I might as well use this time to pack on at least 15-20 lbs (if that’s even realistic given how little time I have)....

Seriously, any advice you guys can throw my way is appreciated...

Btw, I played handball for two years, soccer for three, made it to state championships for swimming, and I’ve only been playing basketball for a year (I think all those different sports are why I’m so skinny as hell🤷)

it feels to me like you're eating just a little bit less than usual lately

Honestly, it feels like you’re still navigating those teenage years where hormones just run the show. My boyfriend was in his late teens back then, weighing maybe 130 pounds and standing just a bit taller than you. He couldn't gain an ounce to save his life; it wasn't until he hit his early twenties that he finally filled out, and now he looks much more solid. 👍 (and yeah, he’s 21 now)
I had a very similar experience myself... up until I was about 18, my body barely changed at all despite eating the same amount. I truly believe things will balance out for you naturally over the next two or three years. In the meantime, just focus on maintaining a healthy diet—there's certainly no harm in that. 😁 Your body is still developing, so your metabolism is functioning differently right now.

just sit back and soak it all in... honestly, I was dealing with this exact same thing when I was sixteen, and now that I’m twenty-one, I'm still stuck in the same spot trying to lose the belly fat 😢

I play basketball, but since we're on break for the holidays, I figured I'd try to pack on at least 15-17 lbs (if that's even a thing you can actually do in such a short window)...

Any advice at all is welcome...

Oh, and just for context—I did handball for two years, soccer for three, went to state for swimming, and I've only been playing basketball for a year (pretty sure all that cardio is why I'm so skinny)🤷

Honestly, I think you're doing alright, it really just comes down to how you feel about yourself🙄

That’s exactly my point. First, there's no way to do it, and then suddenly, it's just gone.

Look, let's be real: 120 pounds at 5'11" is way too light, especially for a guy. 🙄
Those are textbook model proportions for women.

My kid is 6'5" and barely weighs 150 lbs... honestly, he’s already over it.

As for me, I'm 5'8" and about 132 lbs, yet everyone seems to insist I'm anorexic.

Just watch your weight while you can, seriously. Once that extra baggage starts piling on, getting it off is a total nightmare.🙂

I’m standing at 6'1" and weighing in at about 160 pounds... though I’ve definitely got a bit of a gut going on 😁
