I honestly doubt you can find that here in the States.
Maybe try asking at a local pharmacy,

but you could also just improvise something similar; instead of using your hand, maybe use a small container or a little cup.

Haha.
The first thing that popped into my head was those little teapots from children's play sets.
Or even a tiny teapot from one of those adult tea service sets.

You could also use a syringe—just slowly squeeze the water into the nozzle.
That whole device (from what I've seen) seems to be designed specifically for those extremely literal Americans who need everything drawn out for them; otherwise, they'd probably struggle with perfectly normal tasks.🙂

After seeing a neti pot mentioned on TV, I decided to try finding one at local pharmacies because my allergies have been absolutely killing me lately. Honestly, most of the pharmacists I've asked about a neti pot or a nasal rinse device hadn't even heard of them, let alone had them in stock. Then, just the other day, I happened to be walking past a pharmacy window near Trakošćan and spotted an ad for the RHINO HORN (which is like a Norwegian version of a neti pot).
I should probably mention that the thing works perfectly—it really does! For the first time in maybe ten years, since my ragweed allergies started acting up, I’ve actually slept through the entire night two nights in a row. My breathing feels much clearer now, and those sinus headaches aren't hitting me nearly as hard.
So far, my experience with the RHINO HORN has been nothing short of great!
I did try some DIY alternatives before, like using my grandma's old teapot and stuff, but I couldn't make it work at all. The water would just spill out of my nostrils instead of actually flowing through from one side to the other like it's supposed to.
I guess it might be better not to mess around with experiments and just get the actual intended device.
At least, that's what I've learned from my own experience.

Check your DMs... ☕

So, I picked up some saline solutions from the pharmacy, and honestly, my stomach is doing backflips...

How much does that Rhino Horn go for?
And what's actually in the stuff from DM? Is it just some basic nasal spray or something like that? Also, what's the damage on the price?
Thanks! 🙏

What an absolute joke. Why would you even bother buying something like that when you can just wash it like any normal person? It’s clearly designed for the idiots in an Oprah studio audience who just sit there nodding along to everything. Total soccer mom nonsense. 🤮

Vis, vis, I had no idea Oprah was even conversant in Sanskrit. I suppose there really is something new to learn every day on this forum.

It’s just a marketing gimmick. I never claimed that container was cooked up right there in Oprah's studio. 🙄
dustybear14 hit the nail on the head. It's basically just middle-aged, upper-class white people who need everything spoon-fed to them.

Look, you clearly haven't dealt with a real allergy before 🤣

I guess I was just at the CVS pharmacy earlier, and I ended up paying for some Rhino Horn. $30I honestly feel like it’s worth every single cent.

What's your point? You thinking you could just DIY this thing? Or are you suggesting everyone should just blow their nose and call it a day?

Personally, I’d rather clear my sinuses by diving four meters deep and doing a few laps in a pool. That’ll definitely clear things up.

When I'm actually at home, though, I just grab one of those little rinse kits from DM for a couple of bucks and get the job done.

I don't really get why everyone is getting so worked up. 😕 It isn't some $100, new-age mumbo-jumbo... It's just a piece of plastic with zero science behind it. There are literally two lines of instructions...

Where can I find it in DM?
Which aisle in DM is it in?
What kind of items is it shelved with?
I've never come across it before, but I'm really looking to pick one up.

The smaller teapot works perfectly fine 🙂 , and I even picked up a little ceramic bowl back when I was really into my yoga practice... unfortunately, it got trashed during the move...

So, when you order that Rhino Horn, does it actually come with some kind of rinse solution or maybe a powder—like a salt—to clean everything out?

Ha... ha... ha... Honestly, I could probably cry at this point if it weren't so damn ironic. Believe me, I’ve been through this enough times to know exactly how this plays out. 🤣

Look, what I'm saying is that people are out there hunting for these specific ceramic bowls. They’re all making this claim like, "Oh, only those imported ones from overseas actually work," as if everything else is junk. one "They think they're special." That’s exactly what I’m talking about when it comes to this kind of behavior.

Actually, the Rhino Horn doesn't come with any specific rinse solution or pre-measured salt packets.
I guess you just rinse your nose using lukewarm water mixed with regular table salt from your kitchen.
If I recall correctly, the manufacturer's instructions that came with the Rhino Horn suggest dissolving about one measuring teaspoon (which is roughly 2.7 grams) of table salt into 3 ounces of water, which should create a 0.9% saline solution similar to what you'd find in a standard saline spray.
