About two or three years ago, I noticed this strange little bump forming on the ball of my foot—right under the toes. At first, I didn't give it much thought; it wasn't painful, and it wasn't really interfering with anything. It seemed like nothing to worry about... until about a year ago when I actually took a good look at it. That’s when I realized another one had popped up right next to the first. Since then, things have escalated—I've developed six more on that same foot, plus two more on the other one. 😲😲🤷

I've started noticing a slight stinging sensation in that area if I'm on my feet for too long. It also feels a bit swollen—something that definitely wasn't happening before.
I took some photos with my phone after a shower, since the skin looks most irritated then—it's as if these bumps or whatever they are actually open up and spread out a bit...
Here is the photo.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be or how I can get rid of it?
For the record, I'm very careful with hygiene—I wash my feet with soap almost every single day, including these spots. I change my socks daily and always wear clean shoes, so I highly doubt this is an issue of cleanliness.
It doesn't hurt when I touch them, and honestly, it hasn't been a bother until now—but seeing these little devils "reproduce" is starting to get to me. It started with one, then another appeared, then those two turned into four, and now I'm sitting here with six. At this rate, the next step is eight, and then they'll probably just start multiplying exponentially... 🙏☕

Those are likely warts—maybe even common ones. Just so you know, warts are viral and contagious. You should really get this taken care of.

The best move is to grab a referral for a dermatologist; they’ll be able to freeze them right off.

And don't worry—"freezing" doesn't mean they're going to set your leg on fire. It’s done using liquid nitrogen, which involves extreme cold—we're talking temperatures potentially dropping 100 degrees below zero. So, please, don't try to DIY this with an ice cube from your freezer.

It looks like you’ve got an eye infection. 😁
All jokes aside—get to a dermatologist to have that checked out. Eye infections can get incredibly painful—the kind of pain that makes it hard to even move—especially if it hits a sensitive spot. I’m hoping they aren't serious and are just viral warts. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out.
