To be honest, I haven't been great about keeping up with my hygiene lately... there were times when I’d go a full week without swapping out my shirt or my underwear. It happens quite often that I’ll work up a sweat and just... skip the shower.
I really wasn't showering much at all.
I even made the mistake of slapping some cheap deodorant on skin that hadn't been washed, and I've noticed that ever since I started hitting the gym regularly, these little spots have started popping up more frequently.
The thing is, I've actually been dealing with this for over a year now.

Down in my groin area, I've got what looks like a rash, though I wouldn't call it that because a normal rash would have cleared up by now. To me, it feels more like some kind of fungal skin infection, though I couldn't tell you exactly what it is. When I don't shower, the area starts to itch and the skin begins to flake and peel away... but as soon as it gets wet, like when I finally do shower, the redness comes back and seems to get even more intense a few hours later.
I'm seeing the exact same thing around my belly button, in my armpits, and on one of my upper arms. (Does anyone know if it's the same thing? Like, what could this actually be?) I've also noticed a few small spots on my neck that stay dry most of the time, but turn red after they get wet.
Under my arms and around my navel, those flakes feel sort of dry and they peel off in layers...

Basically, these flakes or little spots look reddish when they're damp, but when my skin is dry and hasn't been in contact with any moisture, they look darker than my usual skin tone.

I'll try to get some photos sent over to you guys shortly.

The spots under my armpits have actually been there for about a year now... they get really itchy and flaky, and I notice the skin peeling every single time I get out of the shower.
Then there's this irritation on my neck that flares up and turns red whenever it touches water, sweat, or even just my shaving gear...

To looks like a fungal infection, possibly tinea corporis.
Especially considering poor hygiene and excessive sweating, which creates the perfect environment for fungi to thrive.

You need to see a doctor immediately. It’s likely contagious, and it isn't going to clear up on its own.

OMG 😲😲😲 Give me a break.🤦 Just go see a doctor already. We really don't need someone catching something like this in the 21st century.

I also firmly believe that things won't just resolve themselves without some intervention
But I was actually wondering about something—did you decide to stop following the updates because the situation regarding the "rash" started getting worse, or was it simply an old habit of yours?
And one more thing—why would anyone endure something like this for such a long stretch of time when there are doctors available to help?
