What does power actually mean to a spiritual person?🤷
Power isn't some petty, "keeping up with the Joneses" thing—like seeing your neighbor pull into the driveway in a brand-new Tesla and thinking, "Well, I can't afford that, so I hope he hits a pothole." That's just pathetic.😂
Black magic is basically just trying to force your will onto someone else, which is a total disaster because you're using energy for all the wrong reasons.
True power is about tapping into your own inner strength—becoming a whole, conscious version of yourself. That's the real deal. You focus that energy inward on your own growth, and you never use it to mess with anyone else.

True power is essentially 'inner peace,' having self-control, or perhaps just the ability to master one's own selfishness and those more primitive, animalistic impulses we all carry within us.
Winning against other people makes you strong; however, the one who conquers themselves is what I would call truly powerful. (Lao-tzu)🧐
It’s similar to what Zachary Cook2 mentioned regarding spiritual 'black magic' being a way to 'conquer' others, whereas spiritual 'white magic' is about mastering oneself—it's how you defeat those who lash out at others simply because they lack the capacity to control their own negativity and ego.

That represents the lowest tier of influence (control) and the hallmarks of the most primitive spiritual entities—what we might call coercive power.
(Furthermore, their "power" is incredibly limited and ineffective against people operating at a higher spiritual level. Consequently, it only works on those who lack any spiritual awareness or belief—they are the easiest targets for these kinds of "black arts.")
OT — if we are discussing individual agency rather than collective force — every single person was designed to be powerful.
A person's individual power—their ability to decide, to act, to create, and to overcome obstacles—along with their spiritual authority over other beings, is an inherent birthright. One major difference is that some remain unaware of this and live shackled by fear, superstition, or false beliefs, while others are fully awake to it.
By definition, power (whether control or authority) is the probability within a social dynamic that an individual can manifest their will, even in the face of resistance from others.
In fact, the capacity to exert one's will despite opposition is the defining characteristic of power. This implies that a spiritually awakened person is one of the most potent beings in existence (surpassed only by the Creator), as they hold authority over all other (spiritual) beings on Earth.
That is simply my perspective on the matter.😉

Power...
From a philosophical standpoint, chasing any kind of power is really just an admission of our own weakness—it’s a sign we're dependent on something else.
The second we let go of the need for control, we’re essentially telling ourselves that nothing can manipulate us. That’s when you hit true spiritual perfection.
I think most of us have felt how incredibly difficult, frustrating, and sneakily complicated that realization can be...
But man, the paradox is wild. The moment you drop almost every single desire, you actually become all-powerful. Honestly, I think all this nonsense about dark magic or whatever people claim to possess is just pure fluff.
Any attempt to act through "spells" or tricks is just direct proof that the person trying them is actually powerless.
It’s a concept that’s woven into the teachings of basically every great spiritual leader throughout American history, even if it's a bit twisted.
At the end of the day, though, history shows us that just hearing someone say it isn't enough. You have to hunt for that truth within your own soul and grasp it personally. Once it clicks, that's when real change starts. Our modern world is basically designed to force us into building defense mechanisms just to maintain the illusion of being in charge. In reality, true power only comes when you surrender all forms of control... jeez. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, well, what can I do?😍

I truly believe there is an incredible amount of power in being able to say "no" to evil and a resounding "yes" to what is good.

The thing is, good and evil aren't worlds apart; they're practically rubbing shoulders.

True power is when you read conflicting opinions on a forum and realize you don't need to engage. There is no necessity to argue or defend your position when you understand that everything eventually settles itself; that is true power.

So, I’ve been thinking about how anything someone does in the paranormal realm basically happens through these specific paranormal powers, right? And I guess the whole thing really comes down to how strong those powers are, which leads to different kinds of effects. From what I gather, the strength is tied directly to how low you can get your brain wave frequencies when you're actually making a request or setting an intention. Like, the lower the frequency goes, the more intense the power becomes. It also seems like that level determines which kind of spiritual energies are actually going to respond to what you're asking for or intending to do.
Now, how much a person can actually drop their frequency—whether they're doing it on purpose or just totally unconsciously while they're praying or manifesting stuff—kind of depends on their overall level of spiritual development. So, it feels like we're kind of stuck in this loop, you know? Because the powers are really just a byproduct of spiritual growth, rather than being some separate skill you just practice in isolation until you suddenly have them. I mean, truly massive powers happen when someone is so spiritually advanced that their brain waves hit something like 0.000000012 Hz during a request, which I think is pretty much the absolute limit for us humans. You can try to train yourself to lower those frequencies consciously, but honestly, it's way more common for people to do it without even realizing it—they might not have a clue about the science behind it, but they're working on themselves and honing their abilities whenever they just feel that spark of ability.
And then there's the outcome, because the effects of these powers are also tied back to that frequency again. Basically, if you use the same amount of power but at a lower frequency than what's strictly necessary, you'll get much bigger and longer-lasting results, especially if the person is more spiritually evolved.

Hmm, yeah... I've been chewing on that even more since then. It mostly comes down to the fact that our perspective is flawed and our experience is limited. We can't truly grasp the ripple effects of what we do or even what we say, even when everything feels absolutely right in the moment.

We’re basically blind as moles, just stumbling around with zero foresight. Experience helps us learn, sure, but even with the best intentions—you know that old saying about how the road to hell is paved with good intentions?😉 We still mess up.
Good and evil are playing the exact same game, just following rules we don't understand. Even though it looks like they're on opposite sides of the field, that shared game is actually what ties them together into one big package.

👍...but real power is actually having the ability to act on that whenever possible, because that inner voice telling us what's right in any given moment is always screaming inside us, provided we actually have enough strength to silence all the other noise and distractions just so we can finally hear it...

🙂 puts it very well...
And that would serve as a solid expansion of my initial thesis.😁
So, once we realize who and what we are (being aware of the inherent power we all possess), the next step is surrender and letting go... to the Ultimate Power (for Christians, that is Jesus)—to the idea (and the words)"not my will, but yours".
Only then are we truly powerful... and in the right place, I believe.

They aren't part of the same package,
nor do they follow the same set of rules.🙏
To be honest—they represent diametrically opposed consciousnesses (and worlds).
More accurately: all spiritual teachings provide a crystal clear definition of Evil as the direct antithesis to Good—every single teaching except for witchcraft.
But those groups are statistically so small that their take on spirituality is considered marginal and

The moral dualism you're unfairly forcing into "all spiritual teachings" is typical of certain religions, much like that statistical argumentum ad populum.

Which specific religions—meaning those centered around moral dualism—don't fit that description?
I can't recall a single one.😉
Believe me, the statistics aren't even up for debate here. I was just reading that in the USA—with a population of around 330 million—there are only about 100,000 to 200,000 followers of paganism or witchcraft.🤷
And what about the Celts? Famous? Regarding that matter...

There is a dedicated subforum for religious discussions.
