What is wrong with @Executioner?!

I don't usually wander over to the philosophy subforum, but I clicked on the thread Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) - General Discussion thinking it was under Psychology, and wouldn't you know it—I find myself 411 pages deep into this mess; what am I even reading here?! 😵
It’s clearly just a massive chat room at this point, but I honestly cannot wrap my head around how this one moderator is handing out disciplinary warnings to another mod without any rhyme or reason.

Maybe the kids are just "playing around," but issuing strikes and points isn't some playground game.

Just take a look at why William Gonzalez3 is tossing out red cards and read his justifications.

And then there's William Gonzalez3's post where he calls a guy a moral monstrosity and a degenerate—and apparently, that’s perfectly acceptable behavior here;

I can't tell if @Apemant is some kind of masochist, accepting all these strikes and points that are dragging him toward a permanent ban with such strange relish, but the fact remains: this senseless distribution of penalties cannot be brushed off as mere "banter."

In my opinion, the site administration really ought to give William Gonzalez3 a serious talking-to, because this whole situation feels utterly unhinged and unprofessional.

Look, I'm not acting as anyone's lawyer, but this specific brand of "joking around" absolutely grates on my nerves; is it any wonder that a subforum with such immense potential only sees about ten active users a day?

What’s actually much worse is what you put in your signature—something I pointed out to him a few weeks back—but I don't recall seeing you file a complaint then.

It seems pretty clear to me that the issue isn't these mildly negative descriptions I directed toward a problematic user, but rather this direct, personal attack on my own character.

Between months passing without me posting anything at all, and the fact that there have never been more than ten daily users on that subforum anyway...

So, I jumped into this thread yesterday—which used to be a chat, but is now titled "Consistency in Continuity" (since they change the name of this thing constantly)—over on the Reddit philosophy sub.

Basically, I dropped a few short, lighthearted posts, and overnight, they were wiped clean. I was just chatting with Adis Šabović; we traded a few quick lines and even poked fun at the executioner who probably took offense and decided to nuked our entire conversation... (I should mention that the executioner spends almost every single post messing with Apament—it’s all in good fun, obviously. Since I'm someone who can actually handle basic math, I know neither his jabs nor my comments were meant maliciously, but he clearly didn't get the joke. He acts like some kind of dictator over on the philosophy page.) I’m sure he’s going to have an even bigger grudge against me now, but honestly, who cares...

After I sent him a private message to ask him straight up:

I’m filing a formal report against the moderator executioner regarding this specific post: found within the 'Room 101' thread over in the philosophy subforum.

In that particular entry, he goes as far as labeling the user Apemant a malignant pig and an arrogant beast.

Furthermore, I’d like to request a thorough review of the recent penalties handed out to Apemant by this same moderator.

It’s really just their own little way of messing around with each other; nobody actually gets insulted, and those bans usually only last about an hour. Seriously, don't sweat it. By the way, if anyone feels like they've been unfairly penalized, Apemant is more than welcome to file their own appeal regarding any cards or issues they encounter.

If there isn't anything currently listed, I would be most grateful if someone could see fit to add it. It’s an open secret on Reddit, isn't it? When moderators have been tight with certain users for ages, they basically get a free pass to insult them whenever they feel like it. Why? Because at the end of the day, that user is just one of the moderator's buddies. And let's be honest—who's actually going to file a complaint against a friend? No one. It's all part of the inner circle's little game.
So, I mean, am I actually allowed to just wander onto the Philosophy subforum and tell that executioner that he... That absolute menace of a beast. And once I finish this pack of cigarettes, I suppose I’ll just mention that I actually thought the executioner had caught onto me? It’s almost like our own little inside joke, isn't it? After all, I have been lurking on Reddit for such a long time...

What does a newcomer actually say when they first wander into the Philosophy sub-thread on Reddit? Is there a protocol? A certain way one ought to present oneself before diving into the deep end of existential dread and logic puzzles? Or do you just stumble in, drop a half-baked thought about the nature of reality, and hope someone doesn't immediately tear your argument to shreds? I often wonder if there's an unwritten code of conduct for the curious soul entering this digital arena.
What does some young newbie actually know? They think a yellow card only lasts an hour, and then they claim the reason for a red card is because there weren't enough emojis used... or some nonsense like that. Honestly! 🤣
