Is there any specific food or drink that actually kills an appetite? Lately, I feel like I could just eat everything in sight... it's honestly terrifying. I just overate again, and now I'm feeling terrible about it... I just can't seem to get under control. Two years ago, I was thin, but then I gained an insane 40 pounds during my pregnancy. I was constantly hungry, and I still eat huge amounts because I suspect my stomach just expanded.
Are there any invasive procedures to shrink the stomach that aren't as extreme as getting liposuction? My pants from last year only fit me up to my knees now 😢... Does anyone have actual info on what KILLS an appetite?

Stick to 5 or 6 small meals a day and maintain a bit of discipline, especially during that first week.

Start with a solid breakfast, then focus on cutting back on carbs as the day goes on—I’d also suggest skipping fruit in the evenings—and instead, try to ramp up your protein intake.

It's also worth adding some high-quality healthy fats into your diet, like walnuts or almonds.

I’m closing this thread. Most of these points have already been covered extensively elsewhere.

The surgical options for obesity management detailed in the Health & Wellness PDF include:

a) lap-banding (see the link here);
b) gastric sleeve resection;
c) gastric bypass.

For information regarding various dietary approaches, refer to the Nutrition and Wellness guide. You might also find the discussion on Eating Well While Losing Weight useful.
