Look, I’m not trying to preach here—just asking out of curiosity. I know people traditionally fast on Fridays, but do you guys actually do a weekly fast just to hit the reset button on your system?

No...

I’ve always wondered—how exactly does fasting actually detoxify the body? 😕

It’s like, if you aren't actually eating anything—just sticking to water or tea—you aren't taking in any "impurities" in the first place. Then, through sweat, urine, and everything else, you're essentially just flushing the system out. It’s a sort of internal cleansing, I suppose.

So, this is my first time posting here. I've only had one light meal today—plus I've been sipping on green tea all day long... and honestly? I don't feel nearly as bad as I thought I would. We'll just have to see how things look tomorrow...

Why even feel bad about it if you’ve only had one actual meal today and you're staying hydrated with plenty of water?

I honestly thought I’d be starving or feeling totally wiped out. But turns out, sticking to three meals a day plus two snacks feels pretty standard—right? If I were actually trying to stay active, though, I doubt I could have held up this way... at least, I don't think so.

So I went for a bike ride today 12 miles, did a 3-mile run, and just had a little bowl of miso soup and three radishes for food.

Why on earth would I be feeling this weak right now? 🤣

Look, you can't seriously claim that kind of diet is healthy—or expect anyone to survive on such tiny portions day in and day out! Not to mention you'd be missing out on essential vitamins, minerals... and basically everything else our bodies actually need to function properly.

Well—when you refuse to take my advice, you get to sit there and sweat through your shirt! :Praviseuvrijeđena: 😁

The real issue isn't about what you manage to pull off during a single week; it’s about the long-term overhaul of your habits. That's where things get genuinely difficult.
