WhatsApp: Received a message

Hi there.
I just got a WhatsApp message from someone—let's call him Matt's Person—who isn't even in my contacts.
The message said: Matt's Person changed his mobile number to...
I can't for the life of me remember if I ever had anyone by that name in my phone. So, did he actually change numbers and trigger this notification, or is this something else?
Has anyone here dealt with something similar?
Or is it just someone trying to find an opening to reach out?🤣

A contact from your address book updated their number, and WhatsApp just sent you the same alert you got...
There's really nothing to worry about here... 🙂
