Have you ever actually spotted someone you know in real life on Reddit? A friend, a partner, a coworker... maybe even a parent? I’m asking because it just happened to me—I clocked an acquaintance recently because he was being incredibly obvious by using his most common nickname as his handle instead of his actual name. I started digging through his posts to see if my hunch was right, and sure enough, he's venting about issues I've personally dealt with before. It felt so surreal reading about people I know in person—especially since his writing style makes him seem like a completely different human being, both physically and mentally, from who he actually is in the real world.
