It’s honestly gut-wrenching when a space built specifically to give a voice to underrepresented creators gets eyed up for corporate mixers and cocktail parties. I hate seeing meaningful community projects threatened by the lure of high-end event bookings. Does anyone else feel like we're losing our most intentional public spaces to the highest bidder?
