Can anyone recommend a decent gaming mouse from Boeing for under $50?
I'm looking at picking up the RX1000. What's the verdict on that one?

Asking which gaming mouse is best for $50 is actually a bit of a tricky question—mostly because that specific price range is kind of a dead zone where you don't find much that's actually worth the money. To be honest, if I were in your shoes, I’d probably just stretch my budget by another five or ten bucks to grab the Razer DeathAdder for $66 or maybe the Logitech F310 for $63 from the link provided. Looking at what Boeing has available in terms of gaming mice, the selection is honestly pretty thin...

The RX1000 isn't a bad mouse by any means, but I wouldn't really categorize it as a dedicated gaming mouse...

I don't need anything fancy 🙂
I'll probably just grab this RX1000 since I'm getting my whole rig from Boeing anyway. Might as well keep everything in one order instead of jumping between two different shops. I read some stuff about Corsair saying their quality isn't great and things start creaking after you've used them for a little while too.
Do I actually need a mousepad for the RX1000, or can I just leave it on the desk?

I'll probably just grab the RX1000—since I'm planning to pick up my whole PC build from Boeing anyway, it just makes sense to order everything from one place rather than juggling two different shops. I've read some things about Corsair, though—apparently, their quality isn't always top-tier and you might start hearing some "creaking" after using it for a little while.
Does the RX1000 actually need a mousepad, or can I just run it straight on the desk?

You certainly *can* use it on a bare desk, but personally, I’m not a fan. It tends to scuff up the desktop surface, and those little mouse feet eventually get worn down, which makes the glide feel much clunkier. Plus, on certain textures, the sensor just doesn't track nearly as well...
I honestly can't stand using a mouse without a pad, but hey, that's just my take on it.🙂
