It’s an interesting point to raise, mostly because the moderators overseeing the "Natural Sciences" section—as well as those running the "Advanced Users" IT subforums—seem to have absolutely zero clue about the actual subject matter they’re supposed to be policing.
Are we looking at some kind of nepotism situation here? A few nephews or cousins getting handed out titles just for the hell of it? What’s the real story behind this setup?

How many people in the natural sciences have been unfairly banned?
Some of them were targeted simply because they dared to ask a question that the moderator didn't have an answer to.
And how many posts have been scrubbed from existence just because they contradicted a moderator's personal beliefs, even when the facts were right there?
So, what I'm hearing is that if a moderator lacks the knowledge, they just delete the truth and ban the person!?!?

And what does that Sauron guy have to do with any of this? The man doesn't know the first thing about computing—I mean, his entire technical existence seems limited to Solaris—so why on earth does he think he has the authority to spout nonsense and then just scrub his own stupid posts from the board?

Look, I really think you should take a moment to go over the subforum rules, because this isn't how we start new threads here. Beyond that, we've already gone over the whole process of how moderators are selected multiple times—though honestly, if you had just asked the question politely, someone would have been more than happy to walk you through it regardless of how many times it’s been said. As it stands, your complaints are just way too vague and don't give us any actual substance to work with.

And seriously, the trolling? That's a hard no. It's against the rules.
