Sorry, we don't actually run those specific tests here.
Vitamin B6 81 miles costs about $70 $177
plus you've gotta wait like 10 days for results...

It’s honestly such a rip-off

I've heard people say this vitamin can mess with your head too—like causing mood swings, depression, anxiety, all that jazz...
But you can pretty much get it checked at any local lab
Apparently, if you're low on it, you just feel exhausted all the time... constant fatigue and stuff

Has anyone else actually gone out and gotten their levels checked?

You say: "Supposedly this vitamin causes mood swings, depression, anxiety—all sorts of stuff." If you're claiming the vitamin *causes* that, then logically, an excess would be the culprit. Or are you trying to say these things happen when there's a deficiency?

If it's the latter, don't blow money on overpriced lab work. Just buy some B6 supplements and see if your symptoms improve.

But let's be real: if we're talking about depression and anxiety, we're dealing with something far more complex than just a single B6 level. The causes are endless. It could be a whole spectrum of nutrient deficiencies, or maybe you're eating right but your digestive system isn't absorbing anything. It could be something else entirely, even psychological. Honestly, your best bet is to pick up a book on depression and anxiety to learn the basics so you actually know how to handle this. There are some great resources out there, though I'm not sure if I'm allowed to list them here.

Bottom line: do your homework and look at the big picture before you throw massive amounts of cash at expensive diagnostic tests.

Look, you should probably go see a doctor first. Honestly, those symptoms could be entirely psychological, or maybe they’re just side effects from a vitamin deficiency or some kind of hormonal imbalance—it isn't necessarily just Vitamin B6. A doctor can send you for blood work after they examine you. Here in the States, you can get it covered through Medicare, though you'll end up waiting a bit for the results. Going private is an option if you want them the same day, but man, it gets expensive fast.

The text is actually talking about a deficiency...
Is it even possible for those minerals to mess with everything like that?

Honestly, just go get your B12 and Vitamin D levels checked first—if your B12 is sitting under 300, you can bet your other B vitamins are tanking too. That’s what my private endocrinologist told me, anyway. As for me, I’ve been dealing with a chronic Vitamin D deficiency, which can honestly cause all sorts of crazy symptoms. I've been taking an ultra-potency 5000IU supplement for two months now, but—to be real with you—I haven't felt much of a difference yet.

I was dealing with a major copper deficiency and my Vitamin D was sitting at a measly 25 units
Plus, my B12 was down at 240

Then yesterday I went for one of those electronic mineral scans and the lady tells me my B6 is unbelievably low... like, actually shocking
She said if I want to be 100% sure, I’ve gotta go get a full blood panel done

Honestly, if your B12 is that low, it's definitely a serious deficiency, so you should probably expect your B6 to be bottomed out too—but just a heads up, the B12 is almost certainly going to cause you way more trouble.
Low B12 and Vitamin D are the absolute worst chronic deficiencies you can deal with. They absolutely wreck your immune system, so prepare yourself for all kinds of weird neurological sensations.

An "electronic scan"? You mean that gimmick where they stick electrodes on your fingers at the pharmacy to check your vitamins? That's total garbage. It’s just a tool designed to scare people into buying overpriced supplements.

Yeah... So he tells me it’s all good, says it's just a total breeze, and then basically tells me, "Hey, go ahead and get your blood work done if you don't believe me"...

I walk into the pharmacy just two days apart, and they show me completely different nutrient levels. It’s a total circus.

The whole thing about those pharmacy tests—where they claim to measure electrode resistance and all that nonsense—is nothing more than a gimmick. It’s just a way to push unnecessary products onto people who, unfortunately, tend to be quite trusting.
Sometimes I truly wonder how this is even allowed to happen, considering how inaccurate and pointless the entire practice is.
Has there really never been an inspection from the FDA or something similar to step in?

So then, what kind of methods actually give you objective results?
I’m dealing with this constant chronic fatigue and I just want to kick it to the curb once and for all...
I really just want that insane energy I had back when I was twenty...🙂

Ugh. Get ready for endless research and playing scientist on your own body. Maybe you're nutrient deficient, maybe your liver is struggling, maybe it's depression, or maybe your hormones are a mess... hell, maybe you're just burnt out. It won't be easy. It’s going to be a long road.

Does anyone know where I can track down some massive doses of Vitamin B6? And I don’t mean those pathetic "standard" amounts you find at a CVS; according to recent studies, those levels are basically useless. I'm looking for the heavy hitters—somewhere in the 100 to 600 mg range. The idea is that at these levels, you can actually suppress prolactin and inhibit estradiol right after an orgasm, which theoretically means a guy could hit multiple peaks without that annoying refractory period getting in the way. Honestly, I need this for a group session. When you stack mega-dose B6 with zinc and magnesium, it hits harder than Viagra.

Depression isn't the issue right now, but it could definitely kick in if this keeps up because I've been feeling like this for two years straight.
I'm dealing with headaches, tension in my neck, throbbing in my head, and this weird tingling in my hands and feet... Seriously, when I wake up in the morning, it feels like I just went twelve rounds in a boxing ring... I can't even stay awake past 11 PM, and even then I'm waking up at 9 AM (thank god I run my own business)... those first eight hours of the day, I'm totally useless, zero concentration... I remember back at my cousin's wedding five years ago, I downed like half a bottle of heavy red wine and sat under the AC all night... I was basically a zombie for three days after that. Even in the summer, if I step into a Target and the AC hits me, my head thumps for two whole days... Look, I'll admit I've been through the wringer over the last 12 years—college, building the business, all that stress... But these last two years? My energy is just gone. I used to be a powerhouse, but now, at only 33 years old, I feel like I'm 65...

Why are you so fixated on vitamins?
Think of it like tuning a car; first, you have to organize your life, your routine, and your daily habits. Once you balance those fundamentals, everything else starts to align.

Honestly... 🤦

It’s been a pretty rough day, but reading this actually cheered me up a bit...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

( Also, taking that much B6 would be bordering on an overdose, since at those levels it's practically used as a pharmaceutical for things like neuropathy or neuralgia... it’s definitely not intended for the kind of performance boost being described here. 🤦 )

I was just about to pass out when I stumbled onto your post. 😁 For guys, hitting B6 at massive doses produces exactly the effects I mentioned—it actually works. If you go heavy with a 100mg+ dose, it suppresses prolactin while spiking dopamine and testosterone, which basically results in a permanent erection whether you're flying solo or bringing in the heavy artillery like Viagra. I need this ASAP because I'm planning on making a move with two girls at once soon. I already scouted these mega-doses online:

Something like this 👍

It sounds like you're just describing the side effects of an overdose...
Even though Neurobion combines B1, B6, and B12, it’s still worth glancing at the label since it packs such a heavy dose of B6. [Neurobion forte 100 mg/200 mg/0.2 mg film-coated tablets - Drug Database | Pharmaceuticals: HALMED]

High doses like those turn this into a medication rather than just a simple supplement you pick up because you think you might be low on something.
Plus, research shows that taking extra vitamin and mineral Supplements isn't really necessary for healthy people; in fact, it can sometimes backfire. For certain conditions, doctors prescribe specific preparations in exact dosages, while other supplements might even be forbidden during certain treatments—like how antioxidants can interfere with radiation therapy.
Look, if things aren't working out... they aren't. That's just life.
By the way, pass me that link... not that I need it, but I'm curious to see who's making the claim. I'm hoping for a study or an article from PubMed rather than a manufacturer's site; I don't trust those guys, as they tend to embellish everything.
Good night 😁

Nicholas Davis4 Yeah, you're totally right about the whole lifestyle thing and all that... But I got hooked on the idea of vitamin and mineral Supplements and hormones because they're absolutely vital in plants (that's my field) and plants are pretty much just like humans... I'm not one of those hypochondriacs who's constantly freaking out over every little thing, I'm just looking for ways to boost my own strength... I've noticed a massive spike in people dealing with autoimmune issues over the last five years... And I've also realized that, honestly, like 99% of doctors aren't even up to the task
