gring0 said:πŸ™‚Found out my girl is pregnant about two months ago. We’d been seeing each other for maybe seven weeks before she got knocked up. Honestly? I wasn't really into her. She was mostly just a hookup for me, even though she's way above average lookingβ€”definitely hotter than I am. I used to live in Amsterdam and worked some jobs I won't go into. Not drugs or anything, but nothing strictly legal. Made a ton of cash, but when things got heavy and I had to bail on the Netherlands, I headed back home to my small town. A week after I got back, I moved in on her immediately. Or she moved in on me. Whatever. She was down for whatever that first night, and we were hooking up again the very next day.
.If she’d played hard to get for a week or two, I probably would've actually fallen for her. I mean, I liked her back in high school, and she’s two years younger than me. But since she gave in right away, there was no spark. That's just how I work. Anyway, unlike Amsterdam, this is a tiny town and I didn't have much action here, so I agreed to date her. I figured regular sex with a girl everyone in town is obsessed with was better than nothing. Well, not "nothing," because I’d occasionally head into NYC to party and pick up some girls, but options are slim here. And honestly? I think I made the right call. When she told me she was pregnant... hm... I wasn't indifferent. I thought about making some kind of legal agreement where I just pay child support. But my old man pressured me into marrying her. So, I bought a ring and popped the question. She was over the moon. Wedding is in two weeks. Everything is set. Invitations are out. She’s obsessing over every little detail every single day because she wants it to be like a damn fairy tale. The whole town is talking about it. They're hyping it up like it's the event of the year because I booked a famous singer to perform, and since I run in certain high-end circles, some big names might show up. She keeps bragging to her friends about the guest list and the music and all that crap... and now the whole town is waiting for πŸ™‚ but listen, people... I don't want to get married. I don't want a wife and a kid. I want to be free. Travel. Chase money. I spent my whole life grinding for cash, measuring everything by the dollar. Now I finally have plenty of it. I'm driving a brand new Mercedes coupe. I'm planning to buy a condo in Chicago and a beach house somewhere. I want to live it up for at least another 5 or 6 years. I'm 29 now. I'm thinking about just leaving. That thought has been looping in my head for five days straight. I've packed my bags. I already called a buddy to rent an apartment for me in Chicago. It's all ready to go... but then I think about her. She's so happy. She treats every little thing, from the flowers to the decor, like her entire life depends on it. I hope someone can tell me what to do. I know most of you will think I'm a heartless piece of trash. Fine. I know I am. I just see everything through the lens of money and my own interests. That's just who I am. So what? Still, I hope someone gives me the push to just walk. The question is: do I leave and live my life, or do I go through with the wedding? It's a massive dilemma because walking out feels like running away. Leaving her two weeks before the big day would wreck both of us. But staying isn't fair to me either. Please, give me some advice. I'll make my move three days after this post. I think I'll decide based on which side gets more comments: for or against.

Not necessarily. πŸ˜‰ It’s easy to think certain people don't actually exist, but unfortunately, there's plenty of them out there.

It's just easier to label someone a troll than to accept that people like that actually exist in real life.
