I’m referring to some of my older posts here.

There's only a limited window to edit or delete your posts, though I'm not exactly sure how long 😕

There’s a specific window after you hit publish where you can still edit or kill your own posts. Once that time is up, you're stuck—only the mods can touch them.

Don't sweat it too much
the sheer stupidity of what was said can easily be forgotten...
unless, of course, things get a little more intense ;-)

And what, exactly, is the practical purpose of that?

...you can't honestly sit there and pretend you didn't say something when the words are right there in black and white
...it would completely destroy the logic of any future entries—they wouldn't make a lick of sense if they don't align with what was previously posted before someone goes and edits or deletes it

But those posts are still my intellectual property... why is there such a heavy-handed restriction on how they're managed?

I told you already. Seriously, watch what you say, and when you finally do speak up, better be ready to back it up!😠

...otherwise, future posts wouldn't make any sense since they wouldn't line up with what was previously edited or deleted.

Here we go again.

Anyway, I still haven't received an answer to my question.

Let me put this even more bluntly for you...
There’s no way to tell who’s actually footing the bill or who ends up stuck with the tab later on
Or, to put it in plain American terms—who's getting screwed by whom

Maybe she should look into some medication to help develop a sense of humor—assuming one actually exists for her kind.

On another note, could a moderator please get back to me? It seems this forum isn't even configured to clearly display a user's status anywhere.

For crying out loud, you’re basically asking for a loaded cheeseburger and extra fries for the exact same price...

What does membership status even matter here? You’ve got links to the moderators next to every forum, yet everyone follows the exact same rules during a discussion anyway.

And you can't edit posts to prevent people from changing things after the fact. Once you put something on the internet, you're essentially giving up control over it. At that point, what good are any rules?

The 300-minute window is subject to change.
Or at least, that was the rule last I checked. Not sure if they've updated it recently. (slycrane94?)

If you ask me, there's too much 😁
