Why isn't my post count increasing?

Alright, maybe it’s not a huge deal, but it’s definitely weird. Even on the COVID thread—not that I’ve gone down any rabbit holes elsewhere—for the last couple of days, no matter how many new posts people drop, their post count just stays stuck at the exact same number.

I saw one person whose count says 5 posts, but there's zero chance they've only written five things. It's doing the same thing to me too; my count won't budge.

What's the deal? ☕

EDIT: Okay, it finally updated. My count just jumped up by one.

So, here we go. It keeps switching my posts over whenever I try to write something, but when I’m hanging out on the skeptics board, it won't let me switch back. Plus, it's acting super weird—my total post count just stays stuck at the same number no matter what I do.

I honestly don't get why anyone cares about counting posts, especially the conspiracy theorists and the "alternative medicine" crowd.

Because that's how Anderlon ordered it.

Plus, some people just dump PDFs to farm post counts, so those don't count toward the total (you know, the cheaters and the skeptics...).

Back in the day, they didn't even count posts on the politics subforum, but after getting roasted enough, they finally turned the counter on.
