Windows 10 hotspot issues

I need a little help here.
So, I set up a mobile hotspot on my small laptop, and everything works perfectly—until I shut the thing down.
When I boot it back up, I get an Ethernet error that requires manual troubleshooting (I have to run the diagnostics myself to fix it), and then I’m forced to manually enter the command prompt sequence to restart the hosted WLAN network just to get things running again.

Is there any way to automate this—to make it stick—so the hotspot kicks in immediately upon startup without me having to jump through these hoops every single time?

Hey there! What operating system is running on that laptop? Since it’s a small machine, I’m guessing it might be running Windows 7 Starter. It could be a dozen different things causing this error, but I can't say for sure without knowing the OS. Plus, Windows 7 hasn't seen support in quite a while now. In my experience, having to reset the hotspot every single time you reboot is a real pain. There are some scripts floating around online that you can toss into your startup folder, but honestly, I've never had much luck with those myself.

Thanks Thanksgiving, that’s exactly what I need while I'm surfing the web during work hours. 😁 From what I can tell, it's pretty much the same experience with Windows 10 Home. I just gave Airtable a shot on my machine. It gets the job done and starts up automatically whenever I boot the system. Give it a whirl and see for yourself just continue to download the free version and you're all set.

I’ve got a headache with one of my laptops running Windows 7—I can't get into Gmail or Yahoo Mail at all. It works perfectly fine on my other computer using the exact same credentials, so I know the accounts aren't the issue,
The second thing is this other laptop where I just did a fresh install of Windows 7. I can't get it to connect to my iPhone's mobile hotspot. The network won't even show up in the list, which makes zero sense because I can see the photos from the iPhone on the laptop just fine,

dive, I think rowdypilot86 might be onto something here, but man, it would seriously help you out if you could just drop the laptop model and which OS you're running.
