Hey there...

I'm running Windows 7 on my machine and I've got an HP DesignJet T330—it's an older POS printer—but I'm hitting a wall. I've got it hooked up via a serial port to the computer, but nothing is happening. It’s like the PC doesn't even know it exists. Does this thing need some kind of manual recognition? How do I actually get this thing up and running? I'm in a bit of a time crunch here...

So, earlier today, I installed a controller that has one parallel port and two serial ports... and that part went smoothly. Everything was recognized and installed just fine (so, clearly, the hardware is working)

But the second I plug in the printer... total silence. Nothing.

Where am I messing this up?

I think you just need to install the drivers. Check out the HP DesignJet T330 support site...

I've been scouring their official website, but I honestly can't find any drivers listed anywhere...
