Hello, I am looking for some assistance. Every time I attempt to install any version of Windows, I am met with this error message:

status: 0xc0000225
info: Windows failed to load because the firmware (BIOS) is not ACPI compatible

I would appreciate it if someone could provide guidance on how to resolve this issue.

What version of Windows are you running and what kind of Motherboard is in there? Give me the full specs and let me know what BIOS version pops up during boot...

I have personally tested Windows XP, Windows 7 Ultimate 32, Windows 7 Ultimate 64, and Windows 8.1 64, yet the result remains identical across every single one of them.

The Motherboard is a Hewlett Packard 0AA8h, running BIOS version 786F1 v01.32.

Head into your BIOS and hunt down the SATA mode settings. You’ll want to switch the native control to either disabled or set to compatibility mode.
Once you've done that, try booting from your disc again. The installation should go through without any issues.

These branded machines can be a total pain because they come with all sorts of proprietary restrictions that make installing anything a nightmare. Usually, you end up having to do a full system recovery just to get things moving. It really depends on which specific model you're dealing with, so find the exact model number and hunt for a tutorial on YouTube. I once spent way too much time struggling with an SFF unit like this—some of them even have these hardware modules you have to physically pull out before you can install a single thing...
