So, my Logitech Wireless mouse was working perfectly right after a fresh install of Windows 10 version 1809—it worked great for about 10 minutes, then suddenly just cuts out every half hour. The pointer freezes completely, even though the touchpad is still fine.
I'm wondering if I grabbed some random update that totally trashed everything? Because for those first couple of minutes after the install, it was flawless. Is this some issue with the Synaptics pointing device driver or what? Man, I'm losing my mind here.

I’m about ready to just go out and buy an optical mouse... there's honestly no other way. This whole thing is driving me insane. Maybe it's some stupid update? I've tried everything—removing Bluetooth devices, messing with the mouse settings, Synaptics... nothing works. I've uninstalled drivers, reinstalled them... zero luck.
It'll work fine for maybe ten minutes, then it just dies for half an hour. Then, after I spend forever digging through every single setting available, it finally starts working again—and just when I think I've actually fixed it, the cursor freezes up again.
Honestly, screw this.
The thing is, back on version 1803, everything was totally fine. But since this latest build dropped... first the volume icon disappears from the taskbar, and then it’s like a game of hide-and-seek with my settings before the mouse gives up on me too.
Man, I'd give anything to just roll back to Windows 7 and stop dealing with this headache. I'd disable Windows Update immediately if I could.

Also, any tweaks I make to the power & sleep settings seem to reset themselves—as soon as the brightness kicks back up, it just defaults right back to 50% every single time.
And then there's the whole lid-closing issue—it’s tied to my HDMI setup with the 4K TV. If PotPlayer completely freezes or goes white while I'm in full-screen mode right before I shut the lid, everything breaks. The only way to avoid the headache is to manually exit full-screen first, then close it, otherwise playing movies in full-screen later becomes a total mess.🤦
