Yahoo virus issues

I have my Google search engine set as my default in Chrome. Every single setting is configured correctly... yet the moment I type a query, it redirects me straight to Yahoo. How do I fix this?

Google, the first thing I did was check my settings. Then I discovered it was actually a virus. I followed the advice to run Malwarebytes to wipe it out, but even that didn't do the trick...

Take a look at your extensions—you might've accidentally installed some random add-on you don't need... just wipe out anything that isn't essential.
